The Next Move Workshop sessions are interactive, monthly workshops where students gain the knowledge, tools, and direction needed to navigate their path beyond high school. Each session focuses on a specific topic and provides space for real-time questions, guidance, and meaningful next steps.

Cancellation Policy
Thank you for choosing Melanin Mindset. To ensure a smooth and equitable experience for all participants, please review the following policies: 1. One-on-One Consulting Sessions Booking: All one-on-one sessions must be booked in advance through our online scheduling system. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your session. Cancellations & Rescheduling: Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled session Requests made within 24 hours of the session will result in the session being non-refundable No-shows will be considered forfeited sessions and are non-refundable Late Arrivals: If you arrive late, your session will still end at the originally scheduled time. Additional time will not be extended 2. The Next Move Workshop Booking Policy All sessions must be booked in advance through the website. Each session is limited to 50 participants to ensure an engaging and personalized experience. A confirmed booking secures your seat for that session. Payment must be completed at the time of booking to reserve your spot. Registration will close once capacity is reached. Cancellation Policy Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session. Cancellations made within the 24-hour window are non-refundable and non-transferable. If a session is canceled by Melanin Mindset, participants will receive either: A full refund, or The option to transfer to a future session. Waitlist Policy Once a session reaches capacity, students may join the waitlist. If a spot becomes available, individuals on the waitlist will be notified in the order they joined. Waitlisted participants will have a limited time window to claim the open seat before it is offered to the next person. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee a spot in the session. Participation Expectations Students are expected to log in on time and remain present for the full session. Cameras must be on and visible for the duration of the session to support engagement and community building. Active participation is encouraged to maximize the experience. Respectful communication and behavior are required at all times.
