Service Description
Sept. 23: Sophomore Success Check-In Sophomore year is the perfect time to evaluate what's working and identify areas for growth. Students will review their academic progress, extracurricular involvement, and personal goals while creating a plan to stay on track. Oct. 21: Challenging Yourself Academically This session explores course selection, academic rigor, and strategies for balancing more demanding classes while maintaining success. Nov. 18: Leadership Begins Here Leadership doesn't require a title...it's about making a positive impact. Students will learn how to identify leadership opportunities in clubs, school, sports, work and volunteer experiences that strengthen both character and college applications. Dec. 16: Building a College Worthy Resume It's never too early to begin documenting accomplishments and experiences that tell your story. Students will learn how to organize activities, awards, service hours, leadership roles and work experiences into a resume that grows with them throughout high school. Jan. 13: College Search 101 Students will learn how to research colleges based on majors, campus culture, admission requirements, costs and opportunities to begin building a personalized college list. Feb. 10: Scholarships You Can Apply For Now Many students don't realize that scholarships are available before senior year. This workshop introduces sophomores to scholarship opportunities and teaches strategies for finding scholarships throughout high school. Mar. 10: Summer Opportunities That Impress Colleges Summer is more than a break...it's an opportunity to stand out. Students will explore internships, volunteer experiences, pre-college programs, summer jobs and more to strengthen future college and scholarship application. Apr 14: Staying on Track This session helps students understand important sophomore year milestones, upcoming deadlines and practical ways to stay organized and prepared for the years ahead. May 12: Sophomore Year Action Plan Junior year is often the most important year in the college admission process and preparation starts now. Students will leave with a personalized action plan outlining academic goals, testing timelines, extracurricular priorities, scholarship strategies and next steps to confidently enter junior year.

Cancellation Policy
Thank you for choosing DMW Educational Consulting Services. To ensure a smooth and equitable experience for all participants, please review the following policies: 1. One-on-One Consulting Sessions Booking: All one-on-one sessions must be booked in advance through our online scheduling system. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your session. Cancellations & Rescheduling: Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled session Requests made within 24 hours of the session will result in the session being non-refundable No-shows will be considered forfeited sessions and are non-refundable Late Arrivals: If you arrive late, your session will still end at the originally scheduled time. Additional time will not be extended 2. The Grade Level (9th, 10th, 11th and 12th Grade) Workshop Booking Policy All sessions must be booked in advance through the website. Each session is limited to 50 participants to ensure an engaging and personalized experience. A confirmed booking secures your seat for that session. Payment must be completed at the time of booking to reserve your spot. Registration will close once capacity is reached. Cancellation Policy Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session. Cancellations made within the 24-hour window are non-refundable and non-transferable. If a session is canceled by DMW Educational Consulting Services, participants will receive either: A full refund, or The option to transfer to a future session. Waitlist Policy Once a session reaches capacity, students may join the waitlist. If a spot becomes available, individuals on the waitlist will be notified in the order they joined. Waitlisted participants will have a limited time window to claim the open seat before it is offered to the next person. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee a spot in the session. Participation Expectations Students are expected to log in on time and remain present for the full session. Cameras must be on and visible for the duration of the session to support engagement and community building. Active participation is encouraged to maximize the experience. Respectful communication and behavior are required at all times.
